Danny holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from West Chester University. He has worked in the fitness field for over 20 years as a trainer, coach and a PT in an outpatient clinic dealing with sports injuries, pre/post-surgery rehab and movement dysfunction. During this time, Danny has broadened his skills and knowledge to better serve the people he has helped and trained. His experience in both fitness and rehabilitation settings has provided opportunities to serve clients with a wide range of progressive training.

As a six year member of the Delaware State Beach Patrol, he was instrumental in designing the fitness program for all lifeguards on the Ocean Rescue Team. During his 10 year tenure as a wrestling coach for Salesianum School, Danny worked with athletes in achieving their competitive goals including individual state championships and Division 1 wrestling scholarships. That experience afforded him a greater understanding of the dedication, discipline, and satisfaction of achievement. Danny is grateful to have the opportunity to share his knowledge with the members he works with at CoreTen.

Blaise believes that bettering your physical fitness is not hard. Getting started IS but after that, it gets easier every day. A workout doesn’t have to be an hour in the gym; a workout can be walking your dog, taking the stairs instead of the elevator, a new hobby that requires movement or an everyday activity like playing with your kids. Repetition is the key to forming healthy habits. Small changes on a consistent basis produce huge results in the long run and the more consistent you can be, the easier it gets.

For Blaise, exercise is a way to get away from all of the distractions of daily life. “Days are easier when I work out in the morning or know that I have set aside time to work out in the afternoon. It gives me something to look forward to.” Whether it’s a run with his dog, a few rounds on the heavy bag or hitting the weights; the feeling of accomplishment after a workout always trumps staying in bed or sitting on the couch. Blaise carries this positive attitude into each group exercise class to help participants get started and stay committed.
